Cory Environmental Trust in Britain
The Trust offers grants for projects that relate to communities within ten miles of a Cory Environmental landfill site. The Trustees seek to support projects that fall within the regulations of the Landfill Communities Fund and that will have as big an impact on the community as possible. Typical projects include improving or maintaining a public amenity such as a village hall or park; protecting the environment and conserving biodiversity and preserving or maintaining a religious building or one of historical interest.
There are no set minimum or maximum levels of grant; however most grants are in the region of £10,000 to £40,000 (a third party contribution of 10% will be required).
