If so, Funding Buddies can offer the help and skills your organisation needs to be successful in completing bids.
The Funding Buddies project is a programme to assist community and voluntary groups access funding opportunities. It will also develop training courses to increase and enhance the skills of community organisations.
The project will operate throughout the Mid Kent Leader+ area but will concentrate specifically on the Isle of Sheppey and Romney Marsh.

Informing, promoting and supporting local services for the voluntary and community sector
The Learning Skills Council is working in partnership with Kent CAN, CASE Kent, Voluntary Action West Kent and Canterbury District
Voluntary Action and Support (CaDVAS) to host 3 events promoting services available to and
from the voluntary and community sector during the current economic downturn.

A local partnership has successfully secured funding from the Big Lottery Fund. North Kent
Training Service at Council for Voluntary Service (CVS) Medway in partnership with North West Kent CVS and Swale CVS have received a grant of £461,100 to deliver a 3 year training project to volunteers and staff in the voluntary and community sector of North Kent.
